Books and the Readers who read them

This is the third in a trilogy. I did not read the first two books about the Hamilton Family.

I don't have much to say about this book. I was excited to read it because its an African American imprint at Harlequin. It was a quick read and I read most of it with a blank stare, waiting for the story to start. I really didn't enjoy the writing or the story, though I'm not really much for stories about the rich living on Park Avenue and their(GASP) struggles and (SIGH) difficult it is to be part of such a well-known family.

The pacing is slow, the dialog is stiff, unrealistic to me, though perhaps that's just the Harlequin Way. It's been awhile since I really read Harlequin. The passion seemed blah (but maybe I've read too many erotic romances ;) ).

I'd definitely try another title or another author. I just wasn't into this one.
